Flick is a creative pottery studio with a bold, feminist heart. The focus was on designing a smooth workshop booking system and a shop experience that translates the studio's raw, handmade soul into a digital space.

Solution

I built a custom Shopify experience that challenges the standard, boxy grid feel of the platform. By expanding the existing logo into a complete visual identity, I introduced a vibrant, "punk-inspired" aesthetic that balances organized chaos with intuitive navigation. Key features include a simplified workshop booking flow and a design system that uses bold color blocking and experimental layouts to reflect Flick’s core values: playful, unpolished, and inclusive.

Reflection

The challenge was to inject a messy, artistic soul into a rigid Shopify framework without sacrificing accessibility. By focusing on expressive typography and custom UI elements, I broke the standard template feel to create an e-commerce space that is experimental, full of character, and intuitive to navigate.
